This video will show you what the Fire Awareness in the Workplace programme looks like and how easy it is to use. This is only a demonstration - when it is used for training it is fully interactive.

The six sections of the Fire Awareness training programme are listed on the left of the screen: Nature of fire; Signage; Fire Hazards; Discovering a fire; Extinguishers; and the Test. It is recommended that you work through the sections in numerical order, but they can actually be done in any order you choose. All five main sections must be completed before you are allowed to take the test. In cases where sections are divided into subsections, all subsections must be completed before the section will be marked as complete.

Each section has a short video introduction, followed by a number of pages which are a mixture of diagrams, video demonstrations, interviews and presentations. Arrows at the bottom of the screen allow you to move between and replay pages. Each subsection ends with a question designed to check your understanding so far.

You can review all sections of the programme up until you take the test. Once you have completed all 20 multiple choice questions, you will be presented with a certificate.
